CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Division II Athletic Directors Association (D2ADA) announced the 2025-26 recipients of the D2ADA Academic Achievement Awards on Wednesday. In its 19th year, the Academic Achievement Awards is a program that recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at the Division II level.
Colorado State University Pueblo had 137 student-athletes earn the honor this year. Student-athletes in all 20 of CSU Pueblo's varsity athletic programs were recognized by the D2ADA. Listed below is a breakdown of the number of student-athletes honored in each of the Pack's athletic teams.

The ThunderWolves' tally of 137 student-athletes was the third-most among Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference schools, as Colorado Mesa had a league-best 276 student-athletes recognized and Westminster had 156 student-athletes honored. Overall, the RMAC had a total of 778 student-athletes from five of the league's 15 member institutions.
Overall, a total of 21,000-plus student-athletes were recognized from 179 Division II institutions for the 2025-26 Academic Achievement Awards. Historically, 211,256 total student-athletes have been recognized since the inception of the awards program.
To qualify for a D2ADA Academic Achievement Award, the following must occur:
- The school's Athletic Director must be a current dues-paying member of the D2ADA.
- The student-athlete must have …
- A cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale
- Have attended a minimum of two years (four semesters) of college work
- Have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during his/her most recent academic year
