The quartet of Gabrielle Dunich, Lukas Moran, Keturah Templeman and Maverik Mertens represented the Pack in the twilight meet, with three of the four competitors taking part in throwing events while Dunich was the lone track athlete competing in the women's 800 meters.

Dunich advanced to the finals of the women's 800 after posting a time of 2:23.24 in her race, ultimately finishing fifth overall in the event as the ThunderWolves continued to evaluate potential national qualifying scenarios heading into the NCAA selection announcement.

Templeman once again highlighted the evening for CSU Pueblo in the women's javelin. Already safely qualified for the NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championships entering the weekend, the returning All-American delivered another strong performance by recording a throw of 46.95 meters to place second overall. Templeman's mark topped every Division I and Division II athlete competing in the field, with only an unattached competitor finishing ahead of her in the standings.

In the men's hammer throw, Moran turned in a fifth-place finish after posting a toss of 56.51 meters against a competitive field featuring athletes from across multiple collegiate divisions.

Mertens also put together a solid outing for the ThunderWolves in the men's javelin throw, placing fourth overall with a mark of 54.38 meters.

The NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Committee is expected to release the official accepted times and marks for the 2026 NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championships following the completion of this weekend's final qualifying meets around the country. CSU Pueblo will now await word on which ThunderWolves will officially punch their ticket to Emporia State University later this month.
