Men's DMR Squad Headlines This Week' RMAC Team Of The Week After Historic Weekend

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Colorado State University Pueblo Men's Distance Medley Relay squad was named this week' Track Team of the Week after their historic weekend in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Colorado State University Pueblo track and field completed its second straight weekend of competition in New Mexico with a historic showing at the New Mexico Team Open, highlighted by one of the fastest relay performances in NCAA Division II history.

The weekend was headlined by the ThunderWolves' men's distance medley relay squad of Caleb McLeod, Ryan King, Tim Anstett, and Jon Sweepe, who delivered one of the most memorable races in program history. The foursome shattered the school record and ran a time of 9:42.36, which converts to 9:33 at altitude, marking the second-fastest time ever recorded in NCAA Division II history. The performance placed CSU Pueblo firmly on the national stage and established the group as one of the premier relay units in the country.

CSU Pueblo is back in action this weekend as the Pack will head to Fayetteville, Arkansas to run in one of the most prestigious Indooor Events on the campus of the University of Arkansas.
