PUEBLO, Colo. – Colorado State University Pueblo remained ranked No. 4 and No. 5 respectively in this week's latest AFCA Division II Coaches Poll, presented by GoRout Gridiron and D2Football.com Media polls that were released Monday morning.

In this season's eighth weekly national Division II football poll, the ThunderWolves, who are 7-0 overall and 5-0 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference after picking up a 77-17 Homecoming win on Saturday over New Mexico Highlands, remained ranked in the same spots they were ranked last week by the AFCA and D2Football.com.

The Pack received 657 points in this week's AFCA Coaches' Poll to sit 22 points behind No. 3 Kutztown (7-0), who received 679 points after earning a 45-7 win over Millersville this past Saturday and 27 points in front of No. 5 Minnesota State (7-0), who was idle last weekend. In the D2Football.com poll, the Pack remained ranked No. 5. The Pack is one spot in front of Western Colorado (7-0 overall, 5-0 RMAC), who is ranked No. 6 in both the D2Football.com and AFCA polls.

CSU Pueblo and Western Colorado are the only two RMAC schools ranked in this week's latest national polls as Western Colorado is ranked No. 6 in both the AFCA and D2Football.com polls. Additionally, one RMAC school, Colorado School of Mines (4-2-1 overall, 4-1 RMAC) received eight votes in this week's AFCA poll.

Nine of the Top 25 teams ranked in this week's AFCA Coaches poll are from Super Region Four, including four teams from the super region ranked inside the Top 8.

The top two teams remained the same in both the AFCA and D2Football.com polls as Ferris State (7-0) and Harding (7-0) are ranked No. 1 and No. 2 respectively in both polls. In addition to Ferris State and Harding, the AFCA has Kutztown (Pa.) (7-0) at No. 3, CSU Pueblo at No. 4 and Minnesota State at No. 5, while D2Football.com has Minnesota State at No. 3, Kutztown at No. 4 and CSU Pueblo at No. 5.

CSU Pueblo will look to remain undefeated on the season as they return to action this coming Saturday, Oct. 24 as they travel to Durango, Colo., for a 12 p.m. game against Fort Lewis (2-4 overall, 1-4 RMAC). The Pack enters the game having won 16 straight regular season games dating to last season's 36-35 home setback to Fort Hays State, 30 consecutive conference games dating to the 2023 season, which is the longest active conference win streak in Division II football and 18 consecutive road games, which is also the longest active road win streak in Division II football.
