PUEBLO, Colo. (Jan. 15, 2026) - The Colorado State University Pueblo Foundation has named
Dillon Martin as its first director of athletic philanthropy, a newly created position designed to strengthen athletic fundraising efforts and deepen community relationships in support of Pack Athletics and student-athlete success.
In this role, Martin will lead fundraising and donor engagement efforts for CSU Pueblo Athletics, working closely with donors, alumni, coaches, campus leadership, and community partners to advance athletic programs and enhance opportunities for student-athletes.
Before joining the CSU Pueblo Foundation, Martin served as executive foundation director at Otero College. During his tenure, he expanded scholarship funding, launched an athletic fundraising program, and secured the largest gift in Foundation history. His collaborative work with coaches, board members, and campus leadership reflects his belief that strong partnerships are essential to sustainable athletic success.
With more than eight years of experience in higher education advancement, Martin brings a results driven approach to building donor relationships and advancing athletic fundraising initiatives. He is energized by CSU Pueblo's commitment to excellence, community impact, and the student-athlete experience, and he is proud to support the University's athletic mission through philanthropy.
"I am excited to bring my experience to CSU Pueblo and support the athletic department in advancing opportunities for our student-athletes," Martin said. "This is an exciting time for Pack Athletics, and I am thrilled to contribute to the momentum and success ahead."
Martin earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in economics and finance from Colorado State University Pueblo in May 2019. He also holds an Associate of Arts degree and a leadership certificate from Otero College, completed in May 2017.
In his free time, Martin enjoys traveling and off-roading with his wife, and both are eager to become active members of the CSU Pueblo community.
