RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The Colorado State University Pueblo men's golf team made a strong statement on "moving day" during round two of the 2025 NCAA Division II South Central/West Super Regional at The Victoria Club in Riverside, California.
After finishing round one in 12th place with a 4-under performance, the ThunderWolves surged up the leaderboard on Friday with an impressive 12-under 276—placing them in the crucial sixth spot, which would qualify them for the 2025 NCAA Division II National Championships in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Leading the charge for CSU Pueblo was Agustin Pizzorno, who followed up his round one 68 with another 4-under 68, carding six birdies.
Archie Wyatt also shot a 68, highlighted by two eagles and four birdies, despite a double bogey on the par-5 18th, while Marius Dosiere continued his consistent play with a second consecutive 3-under round, tallying six birdies of his own.
Scotsmen Thomas Craig and Callum Kenneally each contributed with 1-under 71s, as all five players posted sub-par rounds.
With Colorado Christian maintaining the overall lead at 34-under, CSU Pueblo finds itself just two strokes back of fifth-place Midwestern State and narrowly ahead of Cal State Monterey Bay for the final qualifying spot.
