Makeah Scippio (Colorado Springs, Colo./Harrison) and receiver
Taylor Tosches (Temecula, Calif./Southwestern Oklahoma State) have earned a rookie mini camp invitation from the Denver Broncos following the conclusion of the 2025 NFL Draft. The Rookie Mini Camp is scheduled for May 9-11 at Broncos Park powered by CommonSpirit.
The Pack duo is two of 34 players who have been invited to compete at the Broncos' rookie mini camp. The camp will feature the Broncos' seven rookies who were drafted in this year's draft, along with 15 undrafted free agents and invited players.
Among the players invited to the rookie mini camp were Princeton quarterback Blake Stenstrom, Central Missouri offensive lineman Gabe Clark, Lindenwood offensive lineman Cameron Cooper, Colorado School of Mines receiver Max McLeod, Texas Texas safety C.J. Baskerville, Old Dominion running back Aaron Young, San Diego State tight end/wide receiver Mickey Harrison, UC Davis defensive end Zach Kennedy and Wyoming kick John Hoyland. The Broncos draft picks were corner back Jahdae Barron (University of Texas), running back RJ Harvey (Central Florida), wide receiver Pat Bryant (University of Illinois), Sai'vion Jones (LSU), linebacker Que Robinson (University of Alabama), punter Jeremy Crenshaw (University of Florida) and tight end Caleb Lohner (University of Utah).
During the 2024 season, Scippio earned Second-Team All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference honors and was a nominee for the Gene Upshaw Defensive Lineman of the Year and a First-Team NFF Colorado Chapter All-Colorado Team selection. On the season, he ranked second in the RMAC in sacks with 10 and eighth in tackles for a loss with 13. His 10 sacks were tied for eighth on the school's single-season chart, and he tallied a total of 30 tackles and added one interception, five quarterback hurries, one fumble recovery, and one forced fumble.
The 6-foot-4, 235-pound Scippio finished his career with 31.5 tackles for a loss, which is sixth on the school's career chart, while his 21 career sacks are fifth on the school's career chart. Named an RMAC Player of the Week after recording a career-high four sacks and 4.5 tackles for a loss in a win over UT-Permian Basin. The four sacks were tied for the most in a game this season by a Division II player, while the 4.5 tackles for a loss were tied for the 11th most in a game by a Division II player.
Meanwhile, in his only season with the Pack in 2024, Tosches was second on the team in receptions with 56 for 808 yards and hauled in eight touchdown passes. He averaged 14.4 yards per reception and 67.3 receiving yards per game en route to earning Honorable Mention All-RMAC honors. He had two games with double-digit catches, including 11 catches for 151 yards in the Pack's season opener at South Dakota Mines, and had three games with 100 or more receiving yards. His 808 receiving yards are sixth on the school's single-season chart, while the 56 receptions are fourth on the school's single-season chart.
Before playing in 2024 at CSU Pueblo, Tosches played the 2023 season at Southwestern Oklahoma State, and in his one season with the Bulldogs, he played in 10 games and caught 31 passes for 482 yards and had two touchdown receptions. He averaged 15.5 yards per catch and 48.2 yards per game and had six games with three or more receptions, including a season-high five receptions for 73 yards at Southern Arkansas. Also, caught four passes for 100 yards against Oklahoma Baptist.
