RIVERSIDE, Calif. (May 8, 2025) - The Colorado State University Pueblo men's golf team opened play Thursday at the NCAA Division II West/South Central Regional, finishing round one in 12th place out of 20 teams after carding a 4-under par at the Victoria Club.
The ThunderWolves were led by
Agustin Pizzorno (Jr., Uruguay), who turned in a strong performance with a 4-under 68. Pizzorno, currently tied for 11th overall, tallied three birdies and an eagle on the par-5 4th hole to pace the Pack.
Marius Dosiere (Jr., Fouras, France) also impressed, finishing the day at 3-under and tied for 18th. He recorded one eagle as part of his steady opening round.
Thomas Craig (Sr., Falkirk, Scotland) sits in 66th place after shooting a 1-over 73, while both
Callum Kenneally (Sr., Duns, Scotland) and
Archie Wyatt (Jr., Edinburgh, Scotland) are tied for 83rd after each posted a 2-over 74.
The ThunderWolves return to action Friday morning for Round 2 in Riverside, aiming to climb the leaderboard and position themselves for a strong finish in the 54-hole regional event.
