PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Colorado State University Pueblo men's golfer
Agustin Pizzorno made an impressive start at the 2025 NCAA Division II National Championships, posting a one-over-par 73 in the opening round at the storied PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Competing as an individual qualifier, Pizzorno showed poise on the championship stage, carding five birdies on the day, including a strong finish with birdies on holes 17 and 18, and a one-under stretch in the Bear Trap (holes 15-17). His round at the renowned Champion Course — home of the PGA Tour's Honda Classic — puts him in solid position heading into the second round.
Pizzorno will look to build on his momentum when he tees off for round two on Thursday at 11:44 a.m. ET from hole one.
