Saturday's doubleheader home sweep over Adams State was the first for the Pack in RMAC play since sweeping a home doubleheader on May 5, 2023, against Regis. The Pack has now swept two RMAC doubleheaders this season, as they swept a doubleheader earlier this season at Colorado Christian. In that doubleheader against Regis, the Pack won the opener, 9-8 and then won the nightcap, 11-9.

In Saturday's game of the twinbill, the Pack finished with 11 hits and was walked nine times, but left eight runners on base in the victory. Meanwhile, ASU recorded seven hits, was walked twice, and left three runners on base. Six of the Pack's 11 hits were doubles, including two by Borjas.

In addition to Borjas, junior second baseman Devean Alvarez (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif./Chaffey College) was 3-for-3 with three runs scored, while freshman designated hitter Noah Williams (Carson, Calif./Redondo Beach) was 2-for-2 with three runs scored and his 23rd stole base of the season.

The Pack opened the second game of the twin bill by plating three runs in the bottom of the first inning thanks to three walks, a hit by pitch, a wild pitch, and two hits, including a 2-RBI double by Borjas. The third run came on a wild pitch by ASU starting pitcher Cesar Loma to give the Pack a 3-0 lead.

In the second, the Pack loaded the bases with one out thanks two walks issued by Loma and a single by Alvarez, before scoring the fourth run of the game on a Borjas RBI single and adding a fifth run on a fielder's choice grounder by junior catcher Cody Macias (San Diego, Calif./Granite Hills).

ASU put three runs on the scoreboard in the top of the third on a 3-run homer over the right field wall by Braden Watkins off of redshirt freshman hurler Tyler Clementz (Gilbert, Ariz./Basha).

The Grizzlies tied the game in the top of the fourth on a 2-run single to left by Nolan Marthaler and then took the lead on an RBI fielder's choice by Watkins to give ASU a 6-5 lead.

CSU Pueblo retook the lead in the bottom of the fourth as they used a hit, three walks, a double steal, and a fielder's choice to plate two runs and take a 7-6 lead. The first run scored when Borjas drew a bases-loaded walk, and one batter later, Macias followed with an RBI on a fielder's choice grounder.

The Pack added another run to its tally in the bottom of the fifth thanks to a walk, a single by Alvarez, and a throwing error by right fielder Josh Parks to push in front 8-6.

Borjas' added his fifth RBI in the bottom of the sixth thanks to a double to left center that gave the Pack a 9-6 lead. Borjas' double plated Castaneda, who led off the inning with a double to right center. After Macias struck out, junior center fielder Jeremiah Sanchez (Pueblo, Colo./Pueblo West) drilled a 1-2 pitch into right for a double that plated Borjas with the Pack's 10th run of the game.

Castaneda finished the game 1-for-2 at the plate with a run scored, and he drew two walks to extend his reached base streak to 53 consecutive games dating to last season. Castaneda has been on base in all 45 games this season for the Pack.

In the seventh, junior Alex Oliver (Grove, Okla./Coffeyville CC) allowed just a pinch-hit double to Ayden Tauscher, but Tauscher was left stranded at second after Oliver forced Seth Reker to foul out to Castaneda to end the game.

Gracia paced ASU with a 2-for-3 game at the plate, while Watkins drove home four of his team's six runs.

Junior Luke Ruby (Fort Collins, Colo./Resurrection Christian) picked up the win in relief of Clementz on the mound as he tossed 2.2 shutout innings, allowing just one hit and recording two strikeouts. Ruby improved his record to 2-3 on the season. Clementz pitched the first 3.1 innings and allowed five hits and six runs, while walking two and fanning one.
