COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Colorado State University Pueblo concluded the 2025 Rocky Mountian Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships with more strong performances on the final day of the event at UCCS Field House.
The limited CSU Pueblo squads both recorded team scores for the two day. The men finished in 1th place with 19 points, while the women finished in fifth place with 71 points.
The Pack on Saturday were once again led by their two superstarts,
Helen Braybrook and
Katherine Higgins.
Braybrook, an 800 legend, easily took home the win in the event, running a time of 2:06.97, breaking an RMAC record in the event.
Jadyn Herron accompanied Braybrook in the event, finishing in third place with a time of 2:10.95.Â
All-American
Katherine Higgins won the Women's Shot Put, barely holding off her own teammate
Febe Wessels with a mark of 50'7". Wessels finished runner-up in the event with a mark of 49' 3.50.Â
Leyah Martinez finished in seventh place in the 60 Hurdles with a time of 9:02, while
Tyrell Smith finished in sixth place in the 60 Meter Dash with a time of 6.85.
Jonathan Sweepe had an incredible race in the Men's 1 Mile Run, finishing in second place with a time of 4:15.77, while
Kaleb Tipton also picked up a runner-up performance in the Men's 800 and a time of 1:54.75.
Janise Everett finished in seventh place in the 200 Meter Dash Finals with a time of 25.34, while
Margot Thomas-Gatel finished in fourth place in the Women's 3000 Meter Run, running a time of 9:57.63.
After winning the Women's DMR the night before, the 4x400 Relay squad of
Leah Keisler,
Gabrielle Dunich, Herron, and Braybrook took home the silver in the event, running a time of 3:52.10.
