BOSTON, Mass. - The Colorado State University Pueblo Track and Field squad continued their scorching hot start to indoor season, picking up six NCAA Provisionals at the Bruce Lehane Scarlet & White Invitational on the campus of Boston University.
The ThunderWolves sent nine runners to the "fast track" in Boston. The Track and Tennis Center at BU is considered one of the fastest tracks in all of the country, where schools send athletes from all across the nation to try and pick up fast times.
English superstar
Helen Braybrook continued her historic season, picking up an NCAA Provisional in her best event, the 800 meter run. Braybrook finished in sixth place with a time of 2:03.90, defeating every collegiate athlete in the field.
Leah Keisler also competed in the event and picked up an NCAA Provisional. Keisler finished in 12th place with an outstanding time of 2:07.65 to punch her ticket to nationals. Finishing right behind Keisler was veteran
Jadyn Herron, as the junior ran a time of 2:08.09 to punch her ticket as well.
Veteran distance runner
Margot Thomas-Gatel continued her fantastic indoor campaign, as the Frenchie defeated all Division II athletes in the field in the Women's 3000 Meters. Thomas-Gatel finished 20th in the event, running a time of 9:32.80 to pick up an NCAA Provisional. Thomas-Gatel also picked up a school record in the event.
On the men's side, the Pack were just as dominant picking up two NCAA Provisionals on the afternoon.
Newcomer
Emil Meggle added another NCAA Provisional to his young career, as the young German defeated every college athlete in the field in the Men's 800 Meter run. Meggle finished in eighth place, picking up a provisional with a time of 1:48.60.
Jon Sweepe joined Meggle with an NCAA Provisional, as the young distance runner thrived in the Men's Mile, finishing 33rd with a time of 4:03.76.

"Im just super proud of our group. They are a great group of kids who are just super locked in at the moment." Morris also said, "Helen did her thing, the second fastest time ever at CSU Pueblo in the 800. Leah was more aggressive and I think she is realizing how good she really is. I was really pleased with the guys in the 800, Emil has been great, really happy with their performances."
Morris also noted, "I am really glad we made the trip to Boston. It is such a great place to come and run and even though we are a little dinged up and under the weather, we did our job."
