CSU Pueblo Athletics Scores in Fall Division II Learfield Directors' Cup Standings

Pack Scores 117.50 Points from Learfield in 2025 Fall Sports Season

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Following the completion of the fall sports season on Saturday, Colorado State University Pueblo sits in 44th place out of 124 NCAA Division II schools in the Learfield Directors' Cup fall standings that were released by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) on Tuesday morning.

In the final fall Learfield Directors' Cup standings, CSU Pueblo collected a total of 117.5 points thanks to a 10th-place finish at the NCAA Division II Women's Cross Country Championships and NCAA postseason appearances for both the football and volleyball programs.

The Pack earned 67.5 points for its 10th place finish in women's cross country at the NCAA Division II National Championships, while scoring 25 points in football for its first round NCAA Playoff appearance and 25 points in volleyball for its first round match in the NCAA Division II Volleyball Championships.

CSU Pueblo is one of five Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference schools ranked in the Top 50 in the final fall Learfield Directors' Cup standings. In fact, the RMAC had seven schools ranked in the Top 60 of the final fall standings.

UCCS is the No. 1 ranked program in the Learfield Directors' Cup fall standings as the Mountain Lions earned 289.50 points after scoring in men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer, and volleyball, while Colorado School of Mines was third after scoring 275 points thanks to a national runner-up finish in women's cross country and a third place finish in men's cross country, while also scoring in both women's soccer and volleyball and Western Colorado was sixth with 203 points after finishing in fifth place nationally in both men's and women's cross country and having its football team advance to the second round of the NCAA Playoffs. Adams State also finished in the Top 25 at No. 23 as they scored 170 points thanks to a national runner-up finish in men's cross country and a fourth-place finish in women's cross country.

Along with UCCS and Mines in the Top 5, Wingate finished second with 283 points after claiming the national title in men's cross country, while Anderson (SC) was fourth with 237.50 points, and Grand Valley State was fifth with 205 points as the Lakers claimed the national title in women's cross country.

The other national champions during the fall season were Midwestern State in men's soccer, Florida Tech in women's soccer, Ferris State in football, MSU Denver in volleyball, and Shippensburg (Pa.) in women's field hockey.

In addition to releasing the final Learfield Directors' Cup standings in Division II, North Carolina was atop the Division I standings with 359 points, while Tufts was atop the Division III standings with 485 points and Indiana Wesleyan sits atop the NAIA standings with 425 points.

The final fall standings for both Division I and Division III Learfield Directors' Cup standings will be released after completing the college football bowl games, the FCS Championship and Division III Football Championship in January.

The Learfield Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between NACDA and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finishes in NCAA Championships throughout the year.
