COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado State University Pueblo cross country continued its tradition of excellence on and off the course, as three ThunderWolves were named to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference First Team Academic All-RMAC squads, the league office announced.
Sophomore Jonathan Sweepe represented the men's team after helping the Pack advance to the postseason once again during the 2025 season. Sweepe has been a steady presence in CSU Pueblo's lineup and has contributed to the program's continued success at the conference level. He carries a 3.82 grade point average while majoring in Construction Management.
On the women's side, the ThunderWolves placed two student-athletes on the First Team Academic All-RMAC list in Jadyn Herron and Camille Renou. The veteran duo has been instrumental in CSU Pueblo's rise on the national stage, helping lead the Pack to back-to-back top-10 finishes at the NCAA National Championships over the past two seasons.
Herron owns a 3.97 GPA while majoring in Social Work and has served as a leader for the ThunderWolves throughout her collegiate career. Renou continues to balance elite-level competition with graduate studies, maintaining a 3.92 GPA while pursuing her MBA.
Across the conference, Colorado School of Mines redshirt freshman Cody Wyman was named the RMAC Men's Cross Country Academic Player of the Year after posting a 3.96 GPA in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering while also earning Freshman of the Year and All-Region honors. On the women's side, Mines graduate student Margaux Basart earned RMAC Women's Cross Country Academic Player of the Year recognition, holding a perfect 4.00 GPA at both the undergraduate and graduate levels while competing as an All-American.
Other notable First Team Academic All-RMAC honorees included multi-time selections Chase Brown of Colorado Mesa and Klay Grant of Colorado Christian on the men's side, along with Autumn McQuitty of Colorado Mesa, Kaya Pillivant of UCCS, and Lydia Peters of Chadron State among the women's selections.
The RMAC Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who maintain at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average while competing at the highest level of conference competition, further highlighting the ThunderWolves' commitment to success in the classroom and in competition
