PUEBLO, Colo. - For the third time this season, Colorado State University Pueblo's Elena Stankovic has been named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Setter of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
Stankovic delivered one of her most complete performances of the year during the Pack's 3–0 week, totaling 110 assists and averaging 11.00 assists per set in victories over Adams State, Western Colorado, and Fort Lewis. She directed an efficient CSU Pueblo offense that hit .242, .351, and .300 across the three matches, controlling pace and distribution at a high level from start to finish.
Her standout showing came in Tuesday's win over Adams State, where she nearly recorded a triple-double. Stankovic finished the match with 39 assists, nine digs, and 11 kills while hitting .588 — one of the most dominant single-match efforts by any setter in the RMAC this season.
She continued her momentum into the weekend, adding 33 assists in a sweep of Western Colorado and another 38 assists in the Pack's Senior Night victory over Fort Lewis. Over the three-match stretch, Stankovic also contributed 18 kills on .607 hitting, 21 digs, and six blocks, demonstrating her all-around impact in all six rotations.
"Elena has been incredible for us all season, and this week showed exactly how dynamic she is," said head coach Jordan Bruere. "She runs our offense with confidence, competes in every phase of the game, and gives our hitters the best possible opportunities to score. We're proud of her and grateful for the way she elevates our entire team."
Stankovic's leadership and consistency helped guide CSU Pueblo to a 19–7 overall record and an 11–3 finish in RMAC play, securing the No. 3 seed in this week's RMAC Volleyball Tournament. The Pack will host No. 6 Westminster in the quarterfinals on Tuesday night at Massari Arena.
This marks Stankovic's third RMAC Setter of the Week honor in 2025.
