BROOMFIELD, Colo. - The Colorado State University Pueblo women's golf team has not missed a beat as they are tied for first in the season opener in the Swan Memorial at Broadlands Golf Course in Broomfield, Colo.
The ThunderWolves, who are coming off back to back Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Titles, are tied for the lead with California State Los Angeles, a fierce regional opponent who the Pack will most likely see in the postseason.
CSU Pueblo shot an opening round 295 (+7), which was paced by their newcomer fifth-year grad transfer
Alyssa McMillen (Garden City, Kan./Garden City) who shot a two-under par (70) round to take sole possession of the lead individually.
Freya Constable (Edinburgh, Scotland), who the Pack are going to rely upon heavily after the departure of
Kylie Severin, opened the season with a fine round of one-over (73) and sits in t-sixth.
Anju Ogi (Arvada, Colo./Arvada West), who was a valuable asset for Head Coach
Tammy Lim in the fifth spot one season ago, opened up the season with a solid score of three-over (75).

Lisa Ekberg (Kungsbacka, Sweden) shot an opening-round of five-over (77), while
Yale Lee (New Malden, England) made her collegiate debut with an opening round of five-over (77) as well.
The ThunderWolves did have two individuals competiing in the event as veteran
Zoey Rodriguez (Pueblo, Colo./Pueblo South) shot four-over (76), while
Sinead Ni Cheilleachair (Tullamore, Ireland) made her collegiate debut with an opening round of 82.
