DuPONT Wash. - The Colorado State University Pueblo Men's Golf Team had a strong showing, with a third place finish at the Bishop Invitational hosted by St. Martin's University at The Home Course in DuPont, Wash.
The Home Course was the home site of the 2021 NCAA South Central/West Super Regional. The course played at 7420 yards, with a difficult course rating of 74.8.
CSU Pueblo shot three-under on the week (289-287-285), while Cal State East Bay won the event, shooting six-under on the week. Rocky Mountain Athletic Foe Colorado Mesa University tied with Cal State East Bay, but lost on a scorecard playoff.Â
Archie Wyatt (Edinburgh, Scotland/Loretto School), and
Callum Kenneally (Duns, Scotland) both had top-10 finishes as the two Scots both shot two-under par for the week.
Marius Dosiere (Fouras, France) had a solid week for the Pack, improving each day with his score to shoot even par on the week (73-72-71), finishing T18.
Thomas Craig (Falkirk, Scotland) had a great third round to pace the ThunderWolves in the final round. Craig shot opening rounds of 74-74, but shot 70 on day three to finish two-over on the week with a T25 finish.Â
Agustin Pizzorno (Uruguay) rounded out the scoring for the Pack, as the first year ThunderWolf had a fine week in the five spot, shooting rounds of 73-76-81.
