GOODYEAR, Ariz. - The Colorado State University Pueblo Women's Golf team finished in a tie for fifth place at the RJGA Shootout at Estrella, hosted by Western New Mexico University in Goodyear, Ariz.
The Pack were leading after day one after a 308Â (+20) round, and despite improving by two strokes on day two, fell to fifth place, with a round of 306 (+18).
CSU Pueblo was led by their leader
Freya Constable (Edinburgh, Scotland/Boroughmuir), as the Scot shot solid rounds of 73-76 to lead the ThunderWolves, finishing in a tie for 10th place.
Lisa Ekberg (Kungsbacka, Sweden/Aranäsgymnasiet) had an incredible bounce back on day two, improving by 10 strokes and shooting under par, shooting 81-71 for the week.Â
Freshman
Yale Lee (New Malden, England/Nonsuch) had another soild week in her young collegiate career, shooting rounds of 76-78.
Zoey Rodriguez (Pueblo, Colo./Pueblo South) shot rounds of 80-81, while
Sinead Ni Cheilleachair (Tullamore, Ireland) shot rounds of 79-84.]
