PUEBLO, Colo. - The Colorado State University Pueblo men's golf team won the 2024 Sam Proal, hosted by the ThunderWolves at Walking Stick Golf Course.
The Pack won with a final score of 18-under par, winning by one stroke over Hutchinson Community College.Â
Thomas Craig (Falkirk, Scotland) was the difference maker, as the Scotsman buried a 15-foot eagle putt on his last hole to put the ThunderWolves ahead by one.Â
CSU Pueblo was led by sophomore sensation
Callum Kenneally (Duns, Scotland) as the Scotsman shot five-under for the week, including a final round round of one-under to finish T3.
Newcomers
Agustin Pizzorno (Uruguay), and
Marius Dosiere (Fouras, France) made their mark in Pueblo for the first time. Pizzorno shot two-under for the week to finish T7, while Dosiere shot one-under for the week to finish 9th.Â
Craig had a fine week for the Pack, shooting one-under to finish T9, including a pair of four-under 68's in the tournament.Â
Archie Wyatt (Edinburgh, Scotland/Loretto School) rounded out the scoring for the Pack, shooting four-over for the week.Â
