COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference has announced its 2024 Football Media Day Kickoff event, which is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 2 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in the Denver Tech Center in Denver, Colo. Each of the RMAC's 10 football programs will participate in a 30-minute media session that is open to media members beginning at 9 a.m. MT. The media format will begin with opening remarks from RMAC Commissioner Chris Graham at 8:30 a.m.

The RMAC Football Preseason Coaches' Poll will be announced on Wednesday, July 31 at 10 a.m. MT and that will determine the time slot of each football program's 30-media session. Each program will participate with two student-athletes and the head coach. CSU Pueblo will be sending second-year head coach Philip Vigil, along with senior two-time All-American defensive back Daniel Bone III (Colorado Springs, Colo./Pine Creek) and senior Second-Team All-RMAC receiver Reggie Retzlaff (Corona, Calif./Riverside City College) as its representatives to the 2024 RMAC Football Media Day.

Team media sessions will begin at 9 a.m. with the No. 10 team in the RMAC Football Preseason Coaches' Poll. The No. 9 will then begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by the No. 8 team at 10 a.m., the No. 7 team at 10:30 a.m. and the No. 6 team at 11 a.m. The No. 5 team will begin at 11:30 a.m., with the No. 4 team beginning at 12 p.m., followed by the No. 3 team at 12:30 p.m., the No. 2 team at 1 p.m. and the league's preseason favorite will round out the 30-minute media sessions at 1:30 p.m.

In addition to each team's 30-minute media session, media members will also be able to conduct 1-on-1 interviews with attending coaches and student-athletes. Coordination for 1-on-1 interviews must be done ahead of time with Nash Loibi in the RMAC Office.

The entire RMAC Football Media Day Kickoff will be broadcast live on the RMAC Network and will conclude at approximately 2 p.m.

For media members interested in participating in this year's RMAC Football Media Day Kickoff, please contact Nash Loibl (rmacbroadcast@rmacsports.org) by Wednesday, July 31, at 5 p.m.

The Pack will open the 2024 season with a 6 p.m. RMAC game on Thursday, Aug. 29 in Rapid City, S.D., against South Dakota Mines. The Aug. 29 opener will mark the earliest season opener for the Pack since the 2010 season when the Pack opened with a road game on Aug. 28 at Oklahoma Panhandle State.
