COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced Wednesday afternoon that three Pack Track and Field athletes were named RMAC athletes of the week.

Junior sprinter Tyrell Smith (Colorado Springs, Colo./Mesa Ridge) was named Male Track Athlete of the Week, after winning two events, and bringing home two NCAA provisional times. Smith won the 100 Meter Dash with a time of 10.42, and won the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 21.08.

Graduate Student thrower Justin Jenks (Helena, Mont./Helena Capital) was named Male Field Athlete of the Week, after winning two events, and bringing home two NCAA provisional throws. Jenks easily won the Men's Shot Put with a mark of 17.96 meters, and also won the Men's Hammer Throw with a mark of 56.98 meters.

Junior thrower Katherine Higgins (Mead, Colo./Ponderosa) was named Female Field Athlete of the Week, continuing her dominant season, winning the Women's Shot Put with a mark of 15.31 meters and an NCAA provisional throw.
