FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Colorado State University Pueblo men's and women's outdoor track and field teams completed its regular season schedule here Sunday at the Fum McGraw Power Meet hosted by Colorado State University and held at Jack Christensen Track.
At Sunday's event, the ThunderWolves men competed in nine events (4 track and five field events), while the women's team competed in four field events. The Pack recorded two NCAA provisional marks at the meet.
On the men's side, the Pack recorded an NCAA Provisional time in the 4-x-400-meter relay and recorded a season-best mark in the javelin.
In the 4-x-400-meter relay, the Pack men finished in first place with an NCAA Provisional time of 3:11.69. The members of the relay team were senior

Freshman
Zakk Thomas (Kirtland, N.M./Kirtland Central) set a new school record in the javelin with a mark of 52.58 meters (172'10"). His performance helped him finish in fifth place at Sunday's event.
Freshman
Evan Johnson (Aurora, Colo./Grandview) finished third in the 200-meter dash (22.16) and 12th in the 100-meter dash (10.89).
In the 400-meter dash, freshman
Ryan King (Pueblo, Colo./Pueblo West) was fifth with a time of 50.44.
Freshman
Cedrick Kassi (Plano, Texas/Plano West) finished second in the triple jump with a mark of 14.62 meters (47'11.75").
The Pack finished fourth in both the shot put and hammer throw as freshman
Xavier Freeman (Pueblo, Colo./Pueblo East) was fourth in the shot put with a mark of 15.46 meters (50'8.75") and sophomore
Lucas Moran (Pueblo, Colo./Pueblo West) was fourth in the hammer throw with a mark of 50.74 meters (166'6").
Senior
Nate Miller recorded a sixth-place finish in the discus with a toss of 48.90 meters (160'5").
Meanwhile, on the women's side, the Pack competed in the shot put, discus, hammer throw and javelin.
Freshman
Febe Wessels (Pretoria, South Africa) finished second in the javelin with a mark of 39.71 meters (130'3"), third in the shot put with an NCAA Provisional mark of 14.61 meters (47'11.25") and sixth in the discus with a mark of 44.80 meters (147'0").
Sophomore
Olivia Mikaelian (Albuquerque, N.M./El Dorado) was 11th in the hammer throw with a mark of 45.61 meters (149'8") and was 10th in both the shot put with a mark of 11.50 meters (37'8.75") and discus with a mark of 40.95 meters (134'4").
The Pack men and women outdoor track and field teams will return to action next weekend (April 24-25) as they compete at the 2023 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships hosted by Chadron State College in Chadron, Neb.
