PUEBLO, Colo. (December 9, 2022) – In yet another Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference matchup it was the ThunderWolves of CSU Pueblo who emerged victorious on the day with a strong finish to beat the Grizzlies of Adams State by a score 68-65.
The win moves the Pack to 2-1 in conference play.
The Grizzlies who came in hosting a 6-2 record, just couldn't seem to get a hang of the shooting game as their slow start led to them never collecting a lead to end a quarter. The 1-2 duo of
Landri Hudson and
Charisse Fairley dropped both 14 and 15 points on the day, respectively to lead the ThunderWolves with five three-pointers made between the two of them.
Daeja Johnson and
JaNaiya Davis also dropped a combined 15 points with 14 rebounds coming from their efforts.
Adams State was led by Sharmayne Finley who dropped 25 points but came up short with the game-tying layup in the final seconds to ultimately seal the win for CSU Pueblo.
