Game Recap: Women's Basketball |

Pack Falls to Cougars in Tough Road Loss

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (December 4, 2022) – The women's basketball team of CSU Pueblo returned to an even 4-4 record after dropping an away game against the Cougars of Colorado Christian University by a score of 76-71.

The Pack, who had just toppled Chadron State the day before, looked to be on the hunt again as they came into the game, but unfortunately couldn't catch up as they trailed all game and by 11 at the half.

While shooting nearly identically from the field and line, what hurt the Pack the most were the 15 points put up on second chances and 12 points scored on fast breaks for the Cougars. Only one second chance point and six fast break points were what the ThunderWolves could put up in their defense.

A combination of only three offensive rebounds compared to the Cougars' 15 offensive rebounds helped seal the deal for them in the win.
A trio of T-wolves were able to score in the double figures despite the loss with Landri Hudson putting up 19 points, Charisse Fairley scoring 18 points and Tomie Johnson finishing with 16 points.
