Chadron, Neb. (December 2, 2022) – The Colorado State University Pueblo women's basketball team started its Rocky Mountain Conference schedule with a 1-0 start as they beat Chadron State on Friday in the Chicoine Events Center by a score of 75-66.
The Pack led the entire game and went into halftime with an 18-point lead before their eventual victory.
Charisse Fairley dropped a season-high 32 points en route to the win and made seven three-pointers on the day. Fairley shot nearly 48% from the field and was too much for the Eagles to handle in the loss.
Daeja Johnson also collected a season-high total on the day as she made 15 points while going three for three from beyond the arc.
The Pack scored 23 points off turnovers and were able to dominate the shooting game as they had a higher percentage of shots made in field goals, three-pointers and free throws all in the win.
