RAPIDS CITY, SD (Oct. 28, 2022) - The Colorado State University Pueblo volleyball team lost its match at South Dakota Mines 3-0 (22-25, 22-25, 19-25) Friday.
The ThunderWolves were led offensively by freshman
Sadie Scoville with 11 kills and Kendall Harrington added 9 kills of her own.
On the defensive side,
Jazzy Espinoza ended with two blocks and at setter,
Grace Hern recorded 20 assists along with 15 from Sabrina King.
The Hardrockers came out firing from the onset and the ThunderWolves had little answer to their strong start.
In the first set, the Pack was ahead by eight points before SD Mines chipped away at the lead to go ahead 1-0 in the match.
The Pack totaled 15 errors in the match.
CSU Pueblo (17-6, 10-5 RMAC) will finish the road schedule Saturday with a match at Black Hills State starting at 5:30 PM in Spearfish, SD.
