SUMMARY

The Mavericks jumped out to a 4-0 lead during the first 10 minutes of play before Mee scored to get the Pack on the board. CMU responded with three more goals and would lead 7-1 with under nine minutes left in the first half.

The ThunderWolves then closed the frame owning a 4-1 advantage, as Mee scored her second goal with 8:12 left on an assist from Eller. Eller grabbed her first goal a minute later to trail 7-3.

CMU scored next, but two goals by the Pack in the final two minutes made the score 8-5 at the break. Tener scored with 1:47 remaining, then Eller hustled down field for a goal with just 16 ticks left.

CSU Pueblo kept the momentum into the second half with three of the first four goals.

Just three minutes in, freshman Cameron Rogers (M/D, Cleveland, Mo.) scored her first collegiate goal on an assist from Eller. Three minutes later Lessick netted a goal and the Pack trailed by just one at 8-7.
