PUEBLO, Colo. (February 6, 2021) – Colorado State University Pueblo Women's Basketball could not overcome Black Hills State University as the Yellow Jackets bested the Pack 64-54 Saturday at Massari Arena.
Turning Point:
The Pack and Yellow Jackets went blow for blow throughout the first three quarters. With 5:46 left in the fourth, the Pack tied the game at 52 on a
Jalen Long (So., Moreno Valley, Calif.) layup.
After the Yellow Jackets scored the next four points, the Pack answered with a bucket from
Jazzy Hughes (Sr., Tucson, Ariz.) to cut the Yellow Jackets lead to 56-54 with 4:15 remaining. The Yellow Jackets would hold the Pack scoreless the rest of the game finishing on an 8-0 run to seize a 64-54 win.
Individual Highlights:
- Sydni Williams (Sr., Little Rock, Ark.) led all ThunderWolves with 13 points. Williams made 5-of-6 at the line. She finished with seven rebounds and two blocks.
- Aubriana Noti (Jr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) scored 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the field and a 2-of-3 showing at the line. Noti narrowly missed a double-double with nine rebounds. She also swatted a pair of blocks.

JaNaiya Davis (Jr., Waco, Texas) dished out six assists and added five steals.

- Hughes totaled nine points on 3-of-4 shooing. She sank a pair of free throws and added six boards.

Notes:
- The Yellow Jackets won the turnover battle 15-9. Four of the Pack's turnovers came over the final 4:15. There were 12 lead changes in the contest.
