LAKEWOOD, Colo. (February 16, 2020) – A dominating second half performance led Colorado State University Pueblo Women's Basketball to a 70-51 win over Colorado Christian University Tuesday at the CCU Events Center.
Turning Point:
Trailing 17-6 in the first quarter, the Pack (3-11, 3-11 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference) fought back, battling to a 21-21 tie after one. After a close second quarter, the ThunderWolves led 37-35 at the half.
The Pack opened the second half on a 10-0 run. They kept the Cougars (2-12, 2-12 RMAC) scoreless for the first 5:30 of the third quarter. They led 58-45 after three. CSU Pueblo continued to pour it on in the fourth. They held the Cougars to just six points in the final frame as they rolled to 70-51.
Individual Highlights:

Aubriana Noti (Jr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) picked up her third double-double of the season. Noti totaled 13 points on 5-of-11 shooting including a 3-of-3 performance from the free throw line. She pulled down 10 rebounds including five on the offensive glass.

Kansas Watts (Jr., Houston, Texas) scored a season-high 12 points. Watts made 5-of-6 from the field and a pair of free throws on two attempts. She grabbed five rebounds.

Jazzy Hughes (Sr., Tucson, Ariz.) posted 11 points in just 17 minutes. Hughes made 4-of-5 from the field and two free throws. She added five boards.

Sydni Williams (Sr., Little Rock, Ark.) tallied 11 points. She now has double-digit points in six of her last seven games.

JaNaiya Davis (Jr., Waco, Texas) secured 10 rebounds, all of which came on the defensive glass. Davis passed out six assists and scored six points. She had the Pack's only block of the night and two steals.

Morgan Dial (Jr., Denver City, Texas) tacked on nine points. Dial drained 3-of-5 from downtown. She set a season-high with six rebounds.

Notes:
- The ThunderWolves owned the boards with a 47-26 advantage in rebounding. The 47 rebounds set a season-high for the Pack.
- CSU Pueblo outscored the Cougars 33-16 in the second half. They held the Cougars to 21.9 percent shooting in the second half. CCU did not make a 3-pointer in the second half.
