Pack’s late rally quelled by Griffins

PUEBLO, Colo. (December 18, 2020) –  Colorado State University Pueblo Women's Basketball's fourth quarter rally was not enough to propel them to victory as Westminster College emerged with a 64-51 win over the ThunderWolves Friday at Massari Arena.

Turning Point:
Westminster (1-1, 1-1 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference) held a 22-point lead, 47-25, midway through the third quarter.  The Pack (0-2, 0-2) scored the final 12 points of the third to pull within 10 heading into the fourth quarter.

A 9-2 run to start the fourth helped the Pack pulled within three, 49-46 with six minutes remaining.  The Pack held the Griffins without a field goal for over nine minutes between third and fourth quarters, going on a 21-2 run over that span.

However, the Pack could not recapture the lead. Westminster scored the next 10 points en route to a 64-51 victory.
