PUEBLO, Colo. – Colorado State University-Pueblo women's soccer will open Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play this week, welcoming Fort Lewis College Friday, followed by an afternoon contest Sunday versus Adams State University.
CSU-Pueblo (2-1) went 1-1 in closing out nonconference action at the Art & Lorraine Gonzales Soccer Stadium. The Pack earned the win Friday 1-0 versus Texas Woman's University.
Sophomore Jessica Westhoff (Mid., Centennial, Colo.) scored the goal late in the second half, securing the Pack win.
Sunday against St. Edward's, the Hilltoppers muscled past the ThunderWolves 3-0.
For the weekend, Pack goalkeeper Alison Darr (Jr., Placerville, Calif.) collected twelve saves while facing 28 shots by the opposition.
Against Fort Lewis College, the ThunderWolves are 14-20-6 all time including 0-6-1 in the last seven meetings.
Since 2010, CSU-Pueblo has gone 3-3-1 versus Adams State.
