Day 3 of Women's Golf Championship concludes with Kim in a tie for 15th

ALLENDALE, Mich. (May 15, 2015) – With 54 holes complete at the NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championship, Colorado State University-Pueblo's Leina Kim (Jr., Saipan, CNMI) is in a tie for 15th with a total score of 16-over 232. Kim carded a day-three mark of 8-over 80 at The Meadows golf course.

Kim sits 11 shots behind tournament-leader Breanna Moore of Midwestern State. Moore paces the 71-player field with a three-day total of 5-over 221. The University of Indianapolis (49-over 913) continues to lead on the team side, taking an 11-shot lead into the final round.

Playing in rainy and windy conditions, Kim started the day with bogeys on three out of the first four holes. She came back to finish the front nine with four pars and a bogey to take a score of 4-over into the final nine holes.

After a bogey at No. 10 and a par at No. 11, Kim carded her lone birdie of the morning at No. 12. She played the final six holes at 4-over par to conclude the round with a score of 8-over 80.

For the round, Kim hit eight fairways and 10 greens, while tallying 33 putts.

Kim wraps up play at the Division II Women's Golf Championship Friday, beginning at 6:40 a.m. (MDT).
