ANDOVER, Kan. – The Colorado State University Pueblo women's golf team concluded play at the MIAA Preview on Tuesday, finishing in 11th place following the second and final round in Andover, Kan.
The ThunderWolves finished the 36-hole tournament at 26-over-par after rounds of 297 and 305.
Lisa Ekberg led the way for the Pack, putting together two consistent rounds of one-over-par 73 to finish the tournament at four-over-par with a 146 total.
Yale Lee finished at eight-over-par for the tournament after opening with an even-par 72 before carding a six-over-par 78 in Tuesday's final round to finish with a 150.
Saoirse Ní Cheilleachair was next for CSU Pueblo, shooting matching rounds of four-over-par 76 to finish at 10-over-par with a two-round total of 152.
Olivia Heard finished two shots behind Ní Cheilleachair at 12-over-par. Heard opened the tournament with a four-over-par 76 before closing with a six-over-par 78 to finish with a 154.
Rounding out the Pack lineup was Aoife Browne, who finished the tournament at 19-over-par. Browne posted rounds of 79 and 82 for a two-round total of 161.
Southwestern Oklahoma State captured the team championship after finishing the tournament at six-over-par.
The MIAA Preview gave the ThunderWolves another opportunity to compete against a strong regional field as CSU Pueblo continues its fall schedule.
The Pack will make the short drive down to the Texas Panhandle to compete in the West Texas A&M Invitational on Sept. 27-28 at La Paloma Golf Club in Amarillo, Texas.
