Pack returns home for tangle with Fort Hays

PUEBLO, Colo. (September 11, 2014) – The Colorado State University-Pueblo women's soccer team will make their 2014 regular season home debut at the newly named Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium on Friday when they welcome visiting Fort Hays State University Tigers in a game scheduled for a 5:30 p.m. kickoff.

The ThunderWolves (1-1) are coming off a victory one week ago while in San Antonio, Texas, defeating St. Mary's (TX) 4-3. The Pack was led by a flurry of players who each notched their first goal of the young season. Senior forward Brittany Kliesen (Sr., Forward, Pueblo, Colo.) scored the first goal of the season for the Pack, followed by goals from Megan Garcia (R-So., Defender, Pueblo, Colo.), Amanda Jorgensen (Jr., Forward, Wailuku, Hawai'i), and Kacie Licata (So., Forward, Upland, Calif.) whose goal was turned out to be the game winner, scored her goal via penalty kick late in the contest.
