DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (GoThunderWolves.com - May 18, 2013) - CSU-Pueblo's Leina Kim (RFr., Sapian, CNMI) shot a 2-over-par 74, the third-lowest score in the entire field in the fourth and final round of play at the NCAA Division II National Championships, as she finished 28th overall in the 72-member field.
Kim sank a remarkable 16 par shots Saturday, only carding bogeys twice. She began the day in 34th place and rose six spots up the leaderboard, jumping the most spots of any golfer in the field.
In addition, Kim was honored prior to the fourth and final round with an NCAA All-Super Region honor for her outstanding play this season.
