PUEBLO, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - April 7, 2013) - CSU-Pueblo claimed its largest margin of victory in school history Sunday, winning by 48 strokes as it cruised to its third tournament win of the season.
Despite losing 12 strokes from its first round total, CSU-Pueblo again excelled as it produced three of the top five second round scores in the field. Leina Kim (RFr., Saipan, CNMI) cut two strokes from her first round total to finish as the tournament's individual champion, shooting 10-over-par.
Domi Dinallo (Jr, Elephant Butte, N.M.) would finish second after carding an 82, going 16-over-par. Michaela Breit (Jr., Greeley, Colo.) finished tied for fourth with 21-over-par showing.
CSU-Pueblo now shifts its attention to the final regular season tournament of the season, the Colorado Mesa Invitational, in Grand Junction next weekend.
