DENVER, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Sept. 24, 2012) - CSU-Pueblo kept up its tradition of breaking another school record Monday, shooting a 304 as the team led the field at the second RMAC tournament of the season.
For the first time ever, all five of its entrants shot below 80 as the Pack's team score of 304 proved to be its lowest individual round team score in school history. Leading the ThunderWolves were Leina Kim (RFr., Saipan, CNMI) and Dominique DiNallo (Jr., Elephant Butte, N.M.), who both shot 2-over-par 74s to finish the round tied for third. For DiNallo, it was her best individual round score of her collegiate career.
Despite the school-record score, CSU-Pueblo isn't out on the fast track to a tournament title by any means. The Pack is just two shots ahead of Western New Mexico, which at 306, matched the ThunderWolves nearly shot for shot. The Mustangs' Hayley Raymond is leading the field after one round, as well.
CSU-Pueblo will conclude play at Fox Hollow Tuesday as it looks to win its third straight RMAC tournament.
