Box Score Oct. 6 game will be one of 44 football games carried by Altitude this season.
DENVER, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Sept. 1, 2011) - Altitude Sports & Entertainment will broadcast a total of 44 college football games during the 2011 season, network executives announced today including the Thursday, October 6 at 6 p.m. matchup between CSU-Pueblo and Colorado Mines.
That game is part of the NCAA Division II package and will also air live on CBS Sports Network and simulcast live on NCAA.com.
Altitude continues its commitment to regional programming throughout its ten-state territory by broadcasting a total of 14 Western Athletic Conference games, four Big Sky Conference matchups, one Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference contest and four instant replay games featuring regional teams.
"We are extremely proud to offer a great slate of college football programming to our viewers during the upcoming 2011 season. We are thrilled to provide one of the best college football lineups of any network in the region," said Doug Ballmer, Senior Director of Programming.
This will be the first appearance as a part of the NCAA/CBS Sports Network partnership for CSU-Pueblo and Colorado Mines. The Orediggers went to the NCAA Division II playoffs last season.
Further enhancing Altitude's college football lineup will also be a number of classic college football games from the 2010 season and regional coaches' shows from schools such as: New Mexico State, the University of Northern Colorado, Metropolitan State College of Denver, Montana State, Carroll College and the RMAC Showcase.
Altitude will also show another NCAA Division II football game on Sept. 22 as Missouri Western takes on Washburn (KS) at 6 p.m.
