Miller's two goals help defeat Pack
PUEBLO, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Oct. 16, 2011) - The CSU-Pueblo women's soccer team was defeated 2-0 Sunday afternoon falling to Regis University.
Jordan Miller scored both goals for the Rangers striking first in the 7'. Marissa Davis sent a nice through ball to Miller who calmly finished the goal passed a charging keeper.
Miller's second goal came in the second half on a corner kick by Davis. Miller was able to sneak through the defense and finish off the play.
The Pack matched the Rangers shot for shot but was never able to find an opportunity to finish. Melissa Christensen (Sr., Kenosha, Wisc.) and Brittany Kliesen (Fr., Pueblo, Colo.) led the team each with three shots.
The team plays host to Colorado Christian Friday night with kick off scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Rawlings Soccer Complex.
