Pack falls to No. 11 Fort Lewis at home

No. 11 Fort Lewis 2, CSU-Pueblo 0

Pueblo, Colo. ---The CSU-Pueblo Women's soccer team battled thru a cold, windy day at Rawlings Complex, before falling 2-0 to the visiting No. 11 Fort Lewis Skyhawks.

After a goal in the 14th minute from the Skyhawks, the Pack seemed to pick up the pace and match the Skyhawks' physical play.  The score would remain 1-0 through halftime but not before the Pack took it deep into Fort Lewis territory but was unable to capitalize when Jessa Cook (Jr., Idaho Falls, Idaho) dribbled the ball 20 yards from goal before launching one at goal, which hit off the top post of the net.

The Skyhawks sealed the win in the 55th minute on a penalty kick.  Randi Walters (Sr., Oxnard, Calif.) was once again at goal for the Pack, collecting six saves.

With the loss, the Pack drops to 3-7-1 (2-5-0 RMAC) and the T-Wolves will look to recover and get back into a playoff position on Sunday when they travel to Lakewood, Colo. on Sunday to take on Colorado Chrisitan, scheduled game time is at 3:30 pm.
