Hailey Streff (Jr., Madison, S.D.) guided the ThunderWolves to a fifth place finish at the RMAC Championships and earned All-RMAC Second Team honors when she finished 18th with a time of 21:24.5. She was ten seconds off her personal best.
The Pack totaled 163 points and a time of 1:50.47 in the 6K race. The ThunderWolves entered the race ranked eighth in the South Central Region with six RMAC teams ahead of them. CSU-Pueblo beat two of those teams in Dixie State University (6th, 168 points) and Colorado Christian (13th, 378 points).
The Pack's time between their first and fifth scorers was just a minute and 21 seconds.
The ThunderWolves cross country squad will take the momentum of the conference meet finish into the NCAA South Central Region Championships, set for Nov. 9 in Canyon, Tex.
