Ruben Volkert (Gr., Baden-Württemberg, Germany) helped lead the men's soccer team in two road wins to start Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play. 

Volkert played full minutes at the net and made five saves and gave up two goals in two matches.

Thursday at MSU Denver, Volkert made one save and faced 9 shots and two shots on goal.

He followed that performance with another stellar outing Sunday at Mines. Against the Orediggers, Volkert made one save and faced seven shots and three SOG.

Up next, CSU Pueblo men's soccer will host Colorado Christian on Sunday starting at 1 p.m. at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.
