Makeah Scippio (Sr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) earned his first RMAC Defensive Player of the Week honors after leading the ThunderWolves in a 40-23 victory in their home season opener.
Scippio recorded three sacks and four tackles for loss against Texas Permian Basin.Â
With his four sacks and 4.5 tackles for a loss, Scippio added six total tackles, including three solo stops and three assisted tackles. Scippio and the Pack defense finished the game with five sacks and 10 tackles for a loss and also picked off two passes.
On the season, Scippio has recorded 10 tackles, including four solo stops and leads the team in both sacks (4.0) and TFL (4.5). His four sacks are tops in Division II and he is averaging 2.0 sacks per game.
