Diamond'Nique Young (Fr., Fresno, Calif.) had a breakout weekend for the Pack volleyball team, leading the ThunderWolves to an upset win of Colorado Mesa. The freshman averaged 1.75 blocks per set with 14 total blocks. She had six solo blocks and eight block assists over the weekend.

Young had 10 blocks in the Pack's win over CMU with three solo and seven block assists. She also had a career-high 12 kills. Young's ten blocks are the second higest single match total in the RMAC this season. Her efforts also led the Pack to 19 team blocks, the highest total in the RMAC this season.

Young also had three solo blocks in the Pack's match against Western State. The freshman celebrated her first career double-double in the win over the Mavericks.

With 10 blocks, Young finished one rejection shy of the school record. Her efforts helped the Pack to its first win over the Mavericks since 2013.
