Cooper Latino (Sr., Parker, Colo.) headlined the week for Pack baseball as he hit .714, slugged 1.429 and had a 2.179 OPS in helping the Pack take three of four games against Colorado Christian to earn its first RMAC series win of the season.
In three games played, Latino recorded five hits in seven at-bats and scored two runs, hit two doubles, one home run and had 6 RBI. In addition, he drew one walk and did not strikeout in his seven at-bats.
Latino and the Pack will return to action this week with a four-game series, April 2-4 in Golden, Colo., against Colorado School of Mines. The series will begin with a single nine-inning contest on Thursday at 6 p.m., before playing a doubleheader on Friday beginning at Noon and then concluding the series with a single nine-inning game on Saturday at Noon.
