Febe Wessels (Sr., Pretoria, South Africa) delivered a breakthrough showing in the shot put, placing fifth overall with a mark of 14.42 meters in a field that featured numerous Division I competitors. Her throw stood as the top mark among all Division II athletes in the event and also met the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying standard, marking a significant milestone early in the indoor season.

The weekly honor is the first RMAC Field Athlete of the Week award of the season for Wessels and continues a strong start to the indoor campaign for the ThunderWolves. Her performance at the MLK Invitational provides momentum as the Pack prepare for the upcoming stretch of the indoor schedule.

The ThunderWolves will be back in action once again this weekend in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as CSU Pueblo continues its indoor season against strong regional and national competition.
