Hannah Anderson (R-Jr., Spokane, Wash.) was effective in the circle over the weekend to lead the Pack softball team to a 2-2 series split at Colorado School of Mines during the last series of the regular season. With the split, the ThunderWolves clinched the eighth-seed in the upcoming RMAC Tournament.
Anderson appeared in two games including throwing a complete game shutout in the first game Sunday. For the weekend, Anderson went 1-0 and posted a 0.66 ERA. She threw 10.2 innings, scattered nine hits, and allowed only one run while fanning one batter.
She held the potent Mines lineup to a .225 batting average.
The Pack softball team starts their journey at the RMAC Tournament Thursday when they face-off against top-seed and No. 11 Colorado Mesa University at 3:15 p.m. at CMU Softball Field.
