JaNaiya Davis (Fr., Hewitt, Tex.) dominated on the defensive end this week. The freshman averaged 4.5 steals per game, and 2.5 blocks per game from her point guard spot. She also secured 6.5 rebounds per game as she led the Pack to wins over Black Hills State and South Dakota School of Mines & Technology.
In the Pack's 73-63 win over BHSU, Davis came away with four steals and two blocks. Davis followed that effort up with a career-high five steals and three blocks in the Pack's 58-50 win over the Hardrockers. She also pulled down a career-high nine rebounds.
In total, 11 of her 13 rebounds came on the defensive end. Offensively, Davis averaged 13.5 points per game. She dished out 2.5 assists per game for the weekend.
