Jacob Myers (Fr., Castle Rock, Colo.) put together an impressive run at the 46th Annual Midwest Classic, finishing fifth at 133 pounds and leading the ThunderWolves with 19.0 team points.
After dropping a narrow decision in the opening round, Myers responded with a dominant performance through the consolation bracket, winning seven matches to reach the fifth-place bout. During his run, Myers showcased his offensive firepower with three technical falls and a pin.
Myers also earned two key decision victories, closing his tournament with a 6-5 decision over Nicholas Cottone (Millersville).
