CSU Pueblo freshman wrestler Eddie Bowman (Trinidad, Colo.) secured his spot at the 2025 National Championships after finishing in second place at 133 pounds last Saturday at the NCAA Super Region VI, hosted by Western Colorado in Gunnison.
The RMAC Freshman of the Year, Bowman went 2-1 on Saturday and made it to the 1st place match.
His day included a 7-3 decision win over Jakob Romero from Adams State in the second round.
In the semifinal match versus Chadron State's James Davis, Bowman scored a take down in overtime and sealed his spot at nationals.
In the first place match against Nebraska-Kearney's Hector Serratos, Bowman lost a 4-2 decision.
Up next, Bowman will represent the ThunderWolves at the 2025 NCAA Championships which are set for March 14-15 at Corteva Coliseum in Indianapolis.
